DevCo Building Enterprises is a licensed general contractor based in Pacheco, CA, owned and operated by Devin Grimes. We specialize in ADU construction, home additions, and seismic retrofitting for homeowners and property managers across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
DevCo is not a referral network. We're not a broker sending your job to whoever bids lowest. Every project runs through one team, with Devin managing the scope personally from first meeting to final walkthrough.
Why We Started DevCo
Devin started DevCo Building Enterprises because the Bay Area construction market had a reputation problem: contractors who overpromised, underperformed, and disappeared after the permit was pulled. The goal was simple: build a construction company that homeowners and investors could trust to do what they said they'd do, every time.
Every project DevCo takes on is within our 15-mile service radius. That's intentional. We don't spread thin across the state. We know Contra Costa County: the inspectors, the permit timelines, the setback rules by city, because this is where we work.
